(GLOBE NEWSWIRE) July 21, 2015 – Applied Micro Circuits Corporation (Nasdaq:AMCC), a global leader in computing and connectivity solutions, today announced that TSMC, a leading semiconductor foundry, will leverage AppliedMicro’s innovative X-Gene® processor technology integrated within HP’s Moonshot platform as a cost and power saving option for implementing an open source Memcached solution.
